Use the sawdust that the professionals use. Pure kiln dried hickory sawdust will give a truly wonderful color and flavor to your smoked products. Just dampen and allow to smolder. Whatever the size of your smoking operation, it is important that a hardwood fire be used. The softwood of conifers such as spruce and pine contains pitch, which produces a film on the meat and imparts a bitter taste.

In addition to our popular hickory sawdust, we also offer cherry, mesquite, and apple sawdust.
